As part of the launch of the channels in Mexico, a lottery was created with icons, characters and behaviors of the brand's audience. Which we use to celebrate the Mexican national month, through a fake ad video in the style of a board game commercial, appealing to nostalgia in the mere style of toys from the 90s where we will present "my first HBO Max Lottery" that invites people to celebrate those small and big things that make us Mexicans.
Due to the fact that our audience has been quite nostalgic, especially with animated titles and some series that were part of their childhood, as well as the commercials that accompanied the moments in which they saw these shows, especially those of the toys "My joy", who had a very peculiar way of promoting themselves and lived a heyday in the 90's.
We amplified the action with the help of influencers, who played a round of the Mexican lottery live on Instagram live. At the end of the game, the viewers who won were in for a big surprise when HBO MAX sent them an exclusive lottery kit.
